The Aquatic Center, through the Department of Parks, Culture and Recreation, employs a staff of 15 part time lifeguards and a full time Aquatic Center Manager. Our manager oversees the lifeguard staff, as well as manages all facility activities, events, operations, and programs.
The Aquatic Center is located at 55 East Broadway in Unalaska, and houses the natatorium which includes a six lane, 25 yard swimming pool, warming pool, water slide, men's & women's locker rooms and family changing room, and a dry sauna. The facility also includes a fitness center that features cardio equipment; a mezzanine area that serves as a multipurpose room; as well as various mechanical rooms and offices.
