Join instructor and PCR recreation program coordinator Lisa Nilsen for this great Arts, Alive class, in July! During this class you’ll learn about preserving stems for beauty or function, how to extend the life of fresh-cut stems, and multiple methods of preservation (drying, dehydrating, pressing, and tinctures) which allow you to reap the benefits of imported and local plants and flowers, enjoying their beauty or benefits all year-round. Practice responsible harvesting through the fall, applying what you’ll learn during this course in July. Introductory level classes for ages 12+.
Class takes place on Saturdays from July 8 - 29 from 6 to 8:00 p.m. in the Community Center Multi-Purpose Room.
