Program Update
The Cookbook Book Club is having its next meeting on Wednesday, November 8, from 5:30 – 6:30. Check out a copy of this month's cookbook, THE KOREAN VEGAN by Joanne Lee Molinaro, try a few recipes, and then get together at the library to share some food and talk about how they turned out. Local home chef Carlos Tayag will make something delicious from November’s book for the meeting. Copies of THE KOREAN VEGAN are available to check out from the library now. This is a low-key group, and all are welcome, no matter your cooking level or how much of the book you have read. 😊

Program Update
The City of Unalaska is pleased to announce that the Unalaska Public Library will sell a limited number of metal donor plaques to display on two artwork panels in the library entryway. The metal panels and plaques have been designed by Cat Cramer, the metal artist who created the metal windscreen in front of the library. These plaques will display the names of donors and will cost $200 each. Plaques come in the following shapes: • Halibut • Otter • Puffin, standing • Puffin, swimming • Raven • Rockfish We will sell a limited number of each shape, so contact us early for the best selection! Donors may purchase plaques from October 30 – December 1. We anticipate installing the panels and donor plaques in Spring 2024. Sample plaques may be viewed at the Unalaska Public Library. Please contact the library for more information about this opportunity, including character limits and payment options.

Family Games and Photo Booth: 🎮📸 Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM Location: PCR Gymnasium Play a selection of fun child-oriented games and stop by the photo booth for a free family picture. Participants will receive a treat bag on your way out of the gym to the Community Trunk or Treat that has been sponsored by Alaska Ship Supply and Safeway. 2.
